Past the Midnight

Hey, you guys! Welcome. It's me yours truly Cloud-man. As you many already know I'm a film enthusiast and I do watch a lot of films. I mean a lot… You ask why? I love writing and films inspired me and introduced me to different types of writing techniques. Not just writing techniques, films introduced me to the world of unique visuals, sound designs, camera angles, and many more things. So, I decided to watch as many movies as possible this year and that landed me on planning to watch 3 movies a week which sums up to 156 movies by the end of the year. And right now I'm sitting at 78-film mark. I finished watching 78 films by the end of June and it's actually the midpoint of the year and my goal, yay!… (- __ -)! Now how should I feel about this? I don't know. I was in a small pond till now, and now that once I'm out it feels overwhelming. I used to watch films before too, but non of them excited me as much as the films I watched in the past 6 months. My favorite films used to be Dead Poets Society, Swag, The Truman show, and Milk & Serial but now they became Version.1 of my favorite films. I watched so many films that I felt having tombstones in my Letterboxd top 4 is wrong. So, I made a decision of making a version list of my Letterboxd top 4- a list with different versions of my top 4 which change over the time is recorded. Right after making this list, I crossed the midpoint of my "GOAL." So, what did I learn from these movies; a lot to be frank. Each movie taught me something new, something very different. People say we learn different things from different things (T_T). There are movies that make you think you are in a simulation and there are movies that make you think you should be a delulu. Each movie gives me a different experience and each movie makes me want to write a deep analysis on it. So, I will be writing analysis papers on movies from time to time so stay tuned so you won't miss them. And!
